With over 10 years in the industry, Barber Jan was awarded Australian Barber of the Year in 2019 and named a finalist again in 2021 across multiple platforms. His experience, skill, and presence behind the chair speak for themselves.

A 1:1 training day with Jan will leave you feeling confident, inspired, and equipped with real-world knowledge you can actually use. You won’t just be learning technique — you’ll be immersed in the flow of a real working day inside the barbershop, alongside some of the best in the industry.
Whether you’re just starting out or already working as a barber, this personalised training is designed around you. Everyone is at a different stage, and we honour that. Before your session, we’ll discuss where you’re at so the day is tailored specifically to your skill level and goals.
What to Expect
This is a look, learn & hands-on experience, 1:1 throughout the day.

Hands-On Practice
Learning is best done through practice. Toward the end of the day, you’ll be guided through a haircut of your own under Jan’s supervision. Because this is 1:1, we’ll focus on the areas you want to strengthen — whether that’s scissor work, fading, or specific styles.
